Can I close the stomach gap completely, losing weight and diastasis, and "false pricing" on programs
This week I talk about something that is very commonly discussed on diastasis recti support forums, and usually without the real answer actually being given.
The question will be something long these lines;
"My eldest child is 5 (nearly) and I had a 5 fingers gap closed down the 1-2 over the years but I can’t seem to get it to close any further . I’m a active person and not doing much exercise due to fear it will open back up is driving me mad. I am now trying a kettle bells class and aerobics . Any idea why I can’t close the last part?"
And the answers are usually something like this;
"Keep working at it. I bought system X (usually the one they're selling or are affiliates of) and that really helped close mine all the way down"
So A; Can you close the gap all the way?
And B; Should you be scared your diastasis will "open up" again after you've healed it?
I also briefly explain why losing fat can help some people with their diastasis recti recovery (though it should not be the starting point)
And I, very briefly, explain the difference between a ligament and fascia!
A version of the "behind the label" this week where I talk about false pricing. I came across a wonderful example this week where a dietitian had a "special offer of $6300 worth of value for ONLY $297"
