The Portland Trail Blazers loss twice to the Houston Rockets over the weekend, two important losses for Portland's quest for better lottery odds. Losing twice at home against the same team has never felt so good.
The Blazers had a late injury scare in Saturday's game as Trendon Watford left with an apparent knee injury and while it looked scary in the moment, the team later announced that it wasn't as serious as it initially appeared. Watford is out at least a week with a bone bruise, but importantly he avoided serious injury.
Keon Johnson had a season-high 14 points on Saturday, hitting four three-pointers and putting together a generally solid offensive night. Afterwards, Blazers coach Chauncey Billups discussed Keon's growth and where the Portland rookie can continue to improve in the final few games of the regular season.
Finally, we end the show with a look at the Blazers push for better lottery odds. A Kings win, a Pelicans loss set Portland up nicely on Saturday but there are more key games ahead for the Blazers this week, including two must-lose contests against San Antonio.
