Judy was a vivacious teenager who attended a party in a neighboring town, with her boyfriend. Judy dropped her boyfriend off at his house, after he became jealous, that Judy was talking with an older guy. It is believed that Judy did not return home, but returned to the party. Early the next morning two men, knocked on Judy's door and spoke with the family, saying that they missed and loved Judy and other strange behavior. The family did not even know Judy was missing yet. The Police have never released the names of these two individuals, they have not released much evidence, following the bizarre protocol of keeping ALL case information close to the vest. Has this approach worked in this case? In other missing persons cases? the answer is a firm NO!
In November 2021 Judy's car was found by civilian searchers in the Concord River in Billerica, Massachusetts, using an underwater drone. The body was found nearby days later. No further information has been released. It's has been almost forty years since Judy went missing, isn't it time to replace the failed criminal justice protocol of "release no information" in cold cases? It certainly hasn't worked in this investigation.
