The Washington Capitals picked up two big wins this weekend. They beat the Sabres and Devil's and prepare for a big game Monday night against the Hurricanes

In the game Friday night against the Sabres required a shootout and Alex Ovexhkin got the game winner. Evgeny Kuznetsov had unique shoot out goal. He approached the net in almost slow motion and fooled Tukarski. The game saw goals from Anthony Mantha, Nick Jensen, Alex Ovechkin. The Capitals win 4-3

The Washington Capitals beat the Devils 4-3 in D.C. Tom Wilson, Common McMichael, Nick Backstrom and Alex Ovechkin w/ the goals. Vitek Vanecek made 35 saves, including all 10 in the first period and some big ones late. WSH is now 9-2-1 this month. Sunday is a day off. A big game Monday night against the Carolina Hurricanes
