We are still in the month of March and it is still Appreciation Month! In honor of appreciation month, I just finished the Five Languages of Appreciation in the Workplace by Gary Chapman and Paul White.
Excellent book. They argue that appreciation –showing you value the person, is more important than recognition. I agree that recognition programs these days have diminishing returns. What do you think?
