In episode #339 of the Mixxed Zone, Jen “The Keeper” Cooper discusses a wide range of woso topics, including the USWNT settlement, the U-20 Conacacaf championship and NWSL in SoCal.
In the first chat, Jen hears from lawyer Kelsey Trainor about what’s next for the USWNT following the conditional settlement of their lawsuit vs. US Soccer. They also discuss the progress made by the first-ever NWSL collective bargaining agreement.
The second segment features former USWNT player and current NWSL broadcaster Kacey White about calling the recent Concacaf U-20 games. White also shares memories of her time with the U-20 USWNT, as well as the last wosopro game in SoCal before Angel City’s home opener on March 19.
This week’s “Jensplaining” segment reviews the format and brief history of the biennial U-20 Women’s World Cup.
