There is no dogmatic way to “be healthy” or happy. Instead of telling people what they should or shouldn’t do in order to live healthier lives, she wants to inspire and invite others to explore and learn and grow with compassion and curiosity. Her newest book Love, Peace, and Vegetables is an encyclopedic resource that does exactly what she intends: it inspires and invites us into a healthier way of eating, cooking, and living. She understands that change is scary, and she’s here to encourage us to have patience with ourselves as we embark on our own healthy living journeys.
