As Joe Biden, America’s president, visits Brussels for a trio of summits on Thursday—with the leaders of NATO, the EU and the G7—the allies want to send a message of unity and determination. Expect announcements of more weapons to Ukraine, more sanctions on Russia and more reinforcements to NATO’s eastern flank—and more warnings to China to keep out of the war.
