This week’s topic is about luggage and tolls when traveling.
So who's ready for a vacation? I am and I just got back from a recent trip! Now during the course of my freedom I was reminded of a few things that can help you when traveling.
The first thing is packing your items. Most airlines will charge you for a checked bag and if you exceed 50 pounds, the charges can increase significantly.
Therefore, weigh your bags on a scale before going to the airport. In addition, you can bring a small suitcase to carry in the overhead compartments as well as a backpack or a purse to slide under the seat in front of you.
Now as a bonus tip, don’t overpack your suitcases and give yourself a few pounds of weight to spare. This leave additional space for items bought during your trip as well as food and drink that may accumulate before boarding the plane
The next tip is regarding tolls that you may encounter when renting a car. Many rental car companies will allow you the option of paying a one-time fee that will cover all your tolls during your trip.
The best way to determine is by doing the math to track how many tolls you’ll encounter and how much the tolls will cost.
Keep in mind that when vacationing there are many occurrence that can cause delays in your planning that carve into your time that you planned for relaxation.
Therefore, doing your homework ahead of time can reduce stress and keep a few more bucks in your pocket.
