The Pittsburgh Penguins drop another one to the Colorado Avalanche and that's...OK. No, really!
The Pittsburgh Penguins weren't able to take down the Colorado Avalanche again as they fell, 6-4. Hunter goes over why it was a fine performance for the Penguins, but that some of their biggest issues came up yet again against a great team. Was this Tristan Jarry's worst performance of the year? Hunter analyzes some of the goals that he gave up (namely the third and fourth ones) and looks at how this could've been a different game had he made those saves. He also breaks down some of the defensive lapses that we saw from the Penguins, notably on the second goal from Marcus Pettersson. He looks at how this kind of defensive effort isn't going to keep him playing when the games matter most while then pivoting to the lack of finishing. After that, Hunter does look at the positives from this performance and what the Penguins still need to correct going into Thursday's showdown against the New York Rangers. All that, plus an honest view on where the team is contenders-wise, on this episode of Locked On Penguins.
