We're talking about everyone's favorite acronym. Traded Player Exception. That's right it's TPE time, y'all. The Trail Blazers have a roughly $21 million traded player exception that they acquired in the traded that sent CJ McCollum to the New Orleans Pelicans. It's an exception that could allow the Blazers to swing a relatively big trade, one of their most valuable assets for improving the roster this summer. But it's not that simple as they need to find a willing trade partner. In today's show we run through the basics of the TPE.
