What the hell is this podcast?

- The Football Outside The Box podcast is hosted by a Manchester United supporter Wonseok Lim and an Arsenal fanatic, Noah Seaga, who are above all avid football fans. As they discuss football from a broadened perspective, introducing new and unorthodox ideas, they explore the future of football and its advancement opportunities.

Who are these guys anyway?

- Noah Seaga, from Kingston Jamaica, has grown up watching football his whole life with a special affection towards Arsenal F.C. He became an Arsenal fan through the influence of family members also being Arsenal fans but also his idolization for Thierry Henry. “I remember when I played FIFA for the first time and I saw Arsenal as the first team that showed up as an option and I thought ‘this is my team’”.

- Wonseok Lim, originally from South Korea, grew up idolizing Park Ji-Sung of Manchester United, in a way kids nowadays grow up idolizing Heung-Min Son of Tottenham Hotspur. Naturally, watching every Man United game, he developed a love for the club itself. Even after Park’s departure from the club in 2012 he found himself supporting the team, and that’s when he realized that he will forever be a Red Devil.

Ok, So how do they know each other?

- Wonseok and Noah eventually met each other at a boarding school in the United States where they realized their shared passion for football and their commonalities in their ways of thinking outside the box. Since then, they have always discussed football from all angles whether it be the mainstream topics that are discussed in traditional and modern day media but also topics that don’t typically get discussed.

What are they trying to get out of this?

- Today, the two have come together with a goal to create a safe space for all sorts of thought-provoking and engaging football discussion as they look at all possible avenues and break down ideas and suggestions of all kinds so that we can make the football world better.

- What if football had unlimited subs? What if football had an orange card, between yellow and red cards? These are the types of discussions they intend on sparking up while analyzing all of the possible outcomes with its pros and cons.

- Our discussions might not always necessarily come to a final conclusion, rather, our aim is to open the minds of football fans by bringing these discussions into focus.
