Today’s breath is: the 4, 7, 8 Breath
Which: Reduces Anxiety, Helps you go to sleep, manages craving and controls and reduces anger responses
Here’s how to do it: you can do this sitting or on your back. You will inhale through your nose to the count of 4, hold to the count of 7, then exhale forcefully through your mouth pursing your lips and making a whoosh sound for 8 seconds
Let’s do this three times:
Inhale through your nose to the count of 4, hold to the count of 7 and then forcefully exhale through your pursed lips for 8 seconds.
Again: Inhale through your nose to the count of 4, hold to the count of 7 and then forcefully exhale through your pursed lips for 8 seconds.
Last one: Inhale through your nose to the count of 4, hold to the count of 7 and then forcefully exhale through your pursed lips for 8 seconds.
Now continue this breath while I give you your Morning Nudge!
Today’s nudge is: Love the life I live
You only get one life. Make it a good one. Embrace the challenges. Accept the heartaches. Learn from the lessons. Challenge yourself to overcome the obstacles. Love what you have been given in your life even if it does not seem like the same amount others have been given. So what. You do you. You get your life and everyone else gets theirs-all are filled with adversity and challenges. Your life, no matter how bad it may seem right now, could always be way worse. There are always people out there who have it much worse than you. Be grateful and love the life you are living.
Let’s remind ourselves of this.
