At least 23 people are hurt in a mass shooting on the subway in New York. Police are still searching for the suspect. One problem for investigators: security cameras that could have caught the incident on video were not working. A CBS News review shows there were years of warnings about the vulnerability of security cameras in the New York City subway. The Labor Department says consumer prices were 8.5% higher in March, compared to a year ago. That's the biggest jump in more than 40 years, led by a huge increase in gas prices. President Biden now calls alleged Russian atrocities in Ukraine "genocide." Russia's response to international outrage has been to double down on propaganda. Another round of extreme weather slams the Midwest and South. Even more tornadoes could be on the way.
