145: Prayer For Our Sons: Part 4

Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.

 

This is a continuation and a prayer for our sons. Father God in the name of Jesus, I honor your name, and oh, what a great name, the name of our God. Jehovah is your name. You're everything that we need and more, and I worship you. I give you glory. I give you praise. I exalt your name.

 

I say you're good. You're fateful. You're kind. You are all-knowing and loving. Soul forgiving. Thank you that our sins are forgiven in your name. Thank you that we have been washed in the blood of Jesus and we are no longer the sins that we committed. But our lives have been made anew in you.

 

So I pray to God for our sons. That they are experiencing new life in you. Glory be to God. They are acknowledging how they need your help. They are acknowledging you as their Lord and savior. They are acknowledging the hope that they have in you of eternal life. In Jesus' name. I pray that you would minister to the hearts of our sons and that you would speak to them through your word and yes, through your messages as God and even in that private prayer life, that you would speak words of wisdom and encouragement to our sons today. In the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And I pray that they will rise up with the strength of a Peter. My God. That they will be bold, unstoppable men of God. That when we declare the word of God, they will declare that Jesus will make a difference in your life.

 

Strengthen our sons now. In Jesus' name. We give you glory. And we give you praise. For the men of God that our sons are. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
