After her dreambirth was taken away from her during an abusive, highly intervened with and traumatic first birth experience (following the diagnosis of Gestational Thrombocytopenia at 35 weeks) Kailah knew something wasn't right post birth and opened herself up to another way for her next birthing experience.
Feeling unprepared and lacking the feminine guidance she desired in her first pregnancy (although she received continuity of care) and realising Private Midwifery and Doula support was unaffordable, she divinely reconnected with a friend who brought the idea of birthing unassisted into her consciousness.
Kailah shares her pregnancy and labour journey, what she had to work through after the fear of "bleeding out" had been planted in her head by medical professionals first time round and the backlash she received from her family that did not condone her choices, one day after birth.
