At the age of 16, I left Nigeria to attend Bradley University, Peoria, IL.
One year before, this was a virtual impossibility as our family did not have the means to pay for four years of schooling in the US.
Through divine intervention and lots of hard work, we were able to piece together several scholarships to cover Year 1.
I remember the feeling of trepidation when every semester, I wondered if we could afford another year or if I could afford to feed myself.
I remember working three part-time jobs on campus while taking a full course load and double majoring in Accounting & Economics.
So when I finally graduated with honors, I made a commitment to support others who were having to navigate life similarly.
I started by supporting my sisters, who also were able to study here in the US.
And then started donating $600 / yr for book scholarships.
And... today, my dream came true.
Listen to this podcast episode where I not only share this dream but discuss what this may mean for you.
