In today’s episode, we are joined by a colleague who is an expert on tools and technology for translators and interpreters. She is one of the organizers of the popular Innovation in Translation and Innovation in Interpreting Summits, and she is very active in our profession. We always enjoy following her work and are in awe of how she handles all her projects and responsibilities. Nora is a Mexican conference interpreter and translator who enjoys working for clients from around the world on a wide variety of topics, including healthcare, marketing, technical and general texts, and leading teams of linguists, including translators, editors, and proofreaders from Mexico, South America, and Spain working together on large projects. Her interest in productivity has led to a constant exploration of technology to boost productivity, such as CAT tools, speech recognition, computer automation, and custom macros.
