How do we reduce your reactions to chemicals and we've talked about chemicals. So so what do you do about it? So it's an interesting thing. First, the first thing you do about it is try to get rid is as many of 'em as you can, but the, but the topic is how do I reduce my reactions to it? So chemicals are largely the most profound effect is on the liver. Okay. Your liver does, it used to be 350 things. Now, I think it's up to 500 things that your, that your 500 metabolic pathways that your liver is involved in, literally. Okay. But it, but they have several major pathways. And I, I think I'm correct in saying that it's most prominent pathway is a glutathione pathway. And so you've probably heard a glutathione if you haven't, you're going to okay.
Because Glu thigh is a major, major, major player in being, getting well and staying well in auto immunity. And here's the reason why 25% of approximately 25% of, of the listed known triggers that trigger immune to IID disease or perpetually keep triggering. It are toxins, our chemicals, our BPA they're they're they're plastics, they're from AEH, they're all these things that, that we live in. We live in this soup of chemicals. So glutathione is the, the glutathione pathway is the pathway that is designed to take this chemical. So this chemical is actually an entity. It's actually a molecule. Okay. It comes into you, you breathe it in, you know, comes in through your lung or you put it on your skin and it's absorbed through your skin, but eventually it finds its way, your liver cause your that's what your liver's there for liver there for alcohol drugs toxins, those types of things to, to, you know, it's one of the major pathways in, in what your liver does, the glutathione pathway being the guy toxins, glutathione is the most powerful antioxidant known to man.
I pretty sure. Or that's still a correct statement and is made in our cells and is made in our liver. It's actually hard to get auto immunity if you don't, if you have enough glutathione in your system because it's, it, it does such a good job in also working with, along with vitamin D and dampen immune inflammation. It, it does so many things heals your leaky gut. It does a zillion things. I should just do one on glutathione. So, but, but if you don't have enough glutathione, you're going to, you're going to have chemical sensitivities now. Because that pathway is gonna be overwhelmed. The, the glutathione is gonna get used up. The glutathione comes in, it literally grabs the molecule. Okay. And then it literally like, you know, crushes it to, to a degree, but it, it, it brings it to a pathway where it, where the path where neutralizes it so that it can have a a another chemical attached to it, which makes it water soluble.
