Episode 17 - Peter and Water Sprite with Maria Gillen

Welcome to Season 3 of Dragonfly Tales, a story podcast for children (and grown ups) of all ages.

This episode, we welcome our guest teller Maria Gillen, from County Cork in Ireland.  Maria is a great friend and a fabulous teller of tales.  She loves stories of magic, healing and old wisdom and has told to big crowds and small.  Maria is also the storyteller in residence at the Kerry Writer's Museum.  If you want to see more of Maria telling you can do so HERE.

Our story is a tale from Sweden about a clever lad who outwits a water sprite.  Swedish folklore is full of fairies, sprites, trolls and other magical beings.  You can find out more HERE.
