A legal expert says jury trials can be hard to predict.
A father and son have been found not guilty on charges of assaulting and wounding a teen who attempted to burgle their Piopio property for the fourth time.

He says if the jury was rural, the members may have had sympathy for the defendants.
Warren Brookbanks joined Simon Barnett & James Daniels to discuss the outcome of the trial.
