SOUL: Body Positivity in Midlife

I want to thank Kimberley Holiday-Coleman for her honest and candid interview on surviving colorectal cancer and living with a colostomy bag. In a world where midlife women often struggle with their changing bodies, Kimberley cracks open what it means to be positive in your body. Post cancer, Kimberley went on to win a burlesque competition, walk in a Melbourne Fashion Week show and had her photos shared with Dove, all while baring her colostomy bag and post operative scars.

Today, this mom of 6 kiddos and wife of 22+ years offers a refreshing perspective on body image, self-acceptance, community, her stoma, and finding joy in life after cancer/trauma and dismantling negative stigmas/ break down barriers with the goal to promote positivity for both, ostomy and cancer awareness.
