The Channel Tunnel runs underneath the English Channel. This almost sounds unbelievable but in this episode we'll discuss how this engineering marvel was plotted, designed, and constructed. We'll also talk about how some tunnellers died during the construction, and how an unfortunate group of passengers were trapped in a fire inside the tunnel!
