Money & Dementia - Financial Planning. Planning ahead financially when dealing with dementia is crucial for both the individual and their caregivers. Establishing a comprehensive financial plan early on can help alleviate stress and ensure proper care and support as the condition progresses. This includes setting up legal arrangements such as power of attorney, creating a budget for medical expenses and long-term care, exploring insurance options, and considering estate planning. Seeking guidance from financial advisors and legal experts specialized in elder care can provide invaluable assistance in navigating these complex matters.
