2.9 Cultivating Safety + Trust Within Your Own Body
How good does it feel in your body to be in the presence of someone you feel absolutely safe with?
You can let go of vigilance. You feel yourself settle into a relaxed, receptive state. You can soften and open yourself to be seen, felt, and heard. Perhaps there is space to deepen a sexual connection as well.
From a coaching or mentorship perspective, what motivates you to get into somebody's container and lay your money down for their program?
It's trust, isn't it?
Trust they can guide you through the process you need help with and that you can surrender control to their guidance.
And if you are an entrepreneur, what facilitates your authentic online visibility? Your honest AF marketing and content creation?
It's feeling safe to be seen, to express yourself. It's feeling trust that your voice or services or message is needed/wanted in the world. It's trusting in your method, the way you get people from point A to point B.
In this episode of the Devotional Anarchy podcast, I define the components of safety and trust, along with:
how safety and trust (or lack thereof) plays out in your relationships and your business;
how lack of safety shows up in our internal experiences and what to do about them;
and the 5 ways you can cultivate safety and trust in your own body and energy system.
