Gun Law Expert: "We Are at the Worst Place Ever"
The weapon used in the devastating mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas, was once banned in the United States. The Federal Assault Weapons Ban was signed into law in 1994, but 10 years later, the landmark legislation was allowed to expire.
