The latest CBS News polling reveals that a clear majority of Americans favor a variety of gun restrictions -- including universal background checks, a federal "red flag" law, and a ban on the AR-15 style semi-automatic rifle, often used in mass shootings. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson faces a challenge from his own party today that could force him out of office. In the war on Ukraine, Russia has targeted Kyiv for the first time in more than a month. The January 6th committee will release some of its findings on prime time TV later this week.
