After the arrest of more than two dozen members of a white supremacist group near a northern Idaho pride event, including one identified as its founder, LGBTQ advocates said Sunday that polarization and a fraught political climate are putting their community increasingly at risk. A bipartisan group of 20 senators led by Sens. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) and John Cornyn (R-Texas) on Sunday announced they have agreed to “a commonsense proposal” to curb gun violence in response to the mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas, that left 21 people dead at Robb Elementary School. A new PAC backed by Bakari Sellers plans to spend $1 Million to unseat Rep. Rashida Tlaib.
