In Washington, the Select House committee investigating the assault on the Capitol holds a hearing today on efforts to push former Vice President Mike Pence to overrule the 2020 election results. Stocks jumped yesterday in response to the biggest hike in interest rates in nearly 30 years -- three quarters of a percentage point. In a *major* step in the fight against the coronavirus -- advisers to the FDA have unanimously voted to recommend authorization of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, for kids as young as six months. Parts of the Midwest, still recovering from damaging storms Monday, got hit by tornadoes yesterday.
