Kristine Scott: Mental Health, Trauma, Stigma and Police Officers
This week on Gin & Justice, Justine and Amanda speak with Kristine of Seattle Conflict Resolution. Kristine shares her experience of working as a social worker for 30 years, working with homeless youth, and how one day when she thought she was doing the right thing - turned into a complete eye opener for her! Kristine dives into the mental health of police officers, the lack of services available to them, and the importance for all of us to process our own trauma so we can always show up as our best selves. Also, Kristine discusses the high rates of domestic violence within police officers and what the link might be.
