- Skate Canada’s Community Voices host Kaitlyn Weaver talked with Eliot Halverson about her journey in skating and how she navigated being a transgender non-binary athlete.

- 2023 Four Continents Championships, which was originally to be held in Sydney, Australia, will now take place in Colorado Springs.
- Ice Skating Australia statement on Four Continents:
- The ISU released Communication #2488 with more decisions made by the Council during the Congress.
- The ISU Council granted provisional ISU Membership (Figure Skating Branch) for the Kuwait Figure Skate Federation.
- Kaitlyn Weaver, of Canada, was appointed as the ice dance representative for the ISU Ice Dance Technical Committee and Alper Ucar, of Turkey, was appointed as the coach representative for the Ice Dance Technical Committee.
- For Single & Pair Skating Technical Committee, the appointed skater is pending, but the appointed coach is Patrick Meier, of Switzerland
- The ISU has provisionally allotted the 2024 Four Continents Championships to Shanghai, China and the 2024 World Junior Figure Skating Championships to Taipei City, Chinese Taipei.
- The Council decided to postpone the allotment of ISU Championships seasons 2024/25, 2025/26 and 2026/27 seasons to the Council meeting in October 2022 in order to fully evaluate the impact of the Congress decision to amend the qualifying rounds of the World Figure Skating Championships.
- The Council determined that the skaters/couples participating in the 2023 ISU Championships must have reached the minimum total elements scores during the ongoing season (2022/23) or the two immediately preceding season (2021/22). In case that due to the Covid-19 pandemic an extended number of competitions are canceled during the fall 2022, the Council will review the situation in regard to the Minimum TES again at the October Council meeting. If the number of entries based on the Minimum TES would be significantly higher or lower than expected, the ISU Council reserves the right to adjust the minimum TES in order to achieve the objective.
- Olympic champion ice dancers Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron told French media June 20 that they will sit out this upcoming season.
- Elections for President of the French Figure Skating Federation were held on Saturday. Nathalie Pechalat, who has been steering the organization for the past several years was defeated by Gwenaëlle Gigarel-Noury, who received 52.8% of the vote.
- Executive Director Ramsey Baker is leaving U.S. Figure Skating at the end of his contract, which runs through the end of 2022. Baker has been with U.S. Figure Skating since 2005.
- Skate Canada announced that Joseph Phan has decided to retire from competitive figure skating.
- The German Figure Skating Federation announced June 20 that pair team Minerva Hase and Nolan Seegert have announced the end of their partnership, and ice dance team Katharina Mueller and Timothy Dieck have ended their partnership.
- German ice dancer Joti Polizoakis, who is coming out of retirement to compete this season, has applied for clearance to compete for the Czech Republic. Joti has Czech citizenship. Joti will skate with Denisa Cimlova. They will be coached by Barbara Fusar-Poli.
- Sara Hurtado and Kirill Khaliavin are already coaching the new team of Sofia Val and Alexandre Gnedin, who she hopes will surpass what she and Kirill achieved in the sport. She also mentions in the article that they all, including Kiriil’s wife and former partner, Ksenia Monko and their young son, left Moscow in three days
- All-event tickets for the Skate Canada International will be on sale to the public on Monday, June 27 at 10:00 a.m. ET.
