128. Something We Need to Know About Mental Health with Sarah Fay, author of Pathological: The True Story of Six Misdiagnoses
Sarah Fay, author of Pathological: The True Story of Six Misdiagnoses, shares with us her decades-long struggle with mental health, which started with her diagnosis of anorexia nervosa as a teen. With age, her list of diagnoses grew. Sarah shares with us what she experienced – her memoir of these years – and what she learned in her assumed role as an investigative journalist about the system that at least partially failed her. With mental illness diagnoses on the rise, this is a story we all need to hear.
