Kyrie Irving will be part of the Brooklyn Nets roster, for now

Kyrie Irving opted in to his contract with the Brooklyn Nets but that does not mean he will be there for long. The Los Angeles Lakers were rumored to land Kyrie but that was never really actually going to happen. Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson is nearing the end of the sage of what his suspension will look like. Also, Dan Snyder continues to try and dodge the House Oversight Committee that is investigating a toxic work culture within the Washington Commanders, John Wall will agree to a buyout with the Houston Rockets and sign with the Los Angeles Clippers, and a Subway Series in the World Series between the New York Yankees and New York Mets seems very likely as we head into the dog days of summer.
