"I Must Break" This Podcast - Steven Luke Interview
On this special interview episode, Steven Luke joins the show to discuss his career in the world of independent WW2-set films! Steven Luke is a multifaceted talent with experience in the realms of acting, writing, directing, and producing! He also has his own movie prop company, Man the Line, which provides military props, uniforms, and equipment for other various reinactments and productions! In 2015 Steven was able to see his first feature-length script come to life thanks to the help of none other than Dolph Lundgren! That film was War Pigs in which Dolph, Luke Goss, and Mickey Rourke all teamed up to train a ragtag band of rebels in completing a deadly mission behind enemy lines! In this discussion, Steven and I chat his movie prop company and how it services hundreds of productions, as well as how he manages to line up name stars for his independent films! We also chat the next two WW2 films he has gearing up for release, which coincidentally both have him reuniting with Lundgren -- Operation Seawolf and Come Out Fighting! What's it like staging a period war film while adhering to a budget and residing in South Dakota? Listen in to find out!
