Today I'm joined by the brilliant fitness and women’s health expert Amanda Thebe, who herself went from barely surviving menopause to thriving, by making specific changes to her diet, exercise, and approach to mental health.
Amanda is refreshingly candid and pulls no punches as she cuts through the thicket of information (and misinformation) about menopause. We talk about the various types of menopause (medical menopause, natural menopause, early menopause) and about how to recognise, prepare for and alleviate the symptoms along the way.
Most importantly Amanda highlights the reminder that there is a light at the end of what can seem like a very long, very dark tunnel for a number of women going through this period of their lives (pardon the pun).
