Episode 134: Exegeting The Sermon On The Mount (Part 1) - The Beatitudes

This week's Cerebral Faith Live marks the beginning of a new series. I will be going through Jesus' Sermon On The Mount in Matthew 5. Much ink has been spilled in expositing this sermon. It is three chapters of God incarnate preaching to us about kingdom living. As such, it is of importance for any Christian to spend time in meditating on what our Lord is saying to us. Since coming back from burnout in May, I've spent the last couple of months intensely studying this Sermon in Logos Bible Software, reading books by theologians about it, reading commentaries alongside the biblical text in two separate columns, and digging into the biblical Greek and other biblical references. This series will be about me discussing the results of my study.

This week, we will begin looking at The Beatitudes which mark the beginning of Jesus' sermon.
