EP 48: Women Hunt with Renée Thornton and Rebecca Peters
For many reasons, the fastest-growing segment in the hunter/conservationist community today is women. Understanding why and what it will take to help even more women enjoy the rich benefits of hunting are two great questions worth exploring. The Wild Sheep Foundation (WSF) Women Hunt™ Program engages and helps more women cross any barriers on their journey into fields and the mountains.
The WSF Women Hunt™ Program is offering an exceptional opportunity for twelve new women hunters to experience their first hunt in a safe, comfortable, and immersive educational environment at the FTW Ranch in the Hill Country of Texas.
Kyle and Steve sit down with Women Hunt Chair Renée Thornton and WSSBC Women Hunt representative Rebecca Peters. Kyle and Steve have a chat with Renee Thornton and Rebecca Peters about their experience with Women Hunt. A dozen lucky women from around North America met in Hill County Texas, and were taught everything from shooting to wild game butchering, to the North American Model of Conservation.
This is their story.
