Marco Kasper Drafted 8th by the Detroit Red Wings in the 2022 NHL Draft

Steve Yzerman and The Detroit Red Wings select Marco Kasper eighth overall in the 2022 NHL Draft. The Austrian born Center played this past season with Rogle of the SHL. At 6'2" Kasper is already a complete player on both sides of the puck, he is high IQ and can drive plays in both zones, and isnt afraid to get in the dirty areas. His one downside is production isn't quite to the level one would hope of a top 10 pick, but Yzerman believes his skill is "underrated." #lgrw
