We're traveling to NYC this week, folks - to one of the city's most haunted locations - The Morris-Jumel Mansion.
Built before America was America, this stately home saw many key lives lived within its walls such as George Washington and Aaron Burr. Lin Manuel Miranda even wrote some of his award winning play Hamilton in this very place!
A parade of ghosts linger here including Washington, Burr, a Hessian Soldier, and a maid that committed suicide. But the most attention commanding spirit is that of the lady of the house - Eliza Jumel. Shushing school kids, demanding you leave her bedroom, and utterly ignoring men is what this ghost is famous for.
Come on in and let's discuss if the road to hell is truly paved with good intentions, as only we can do.
