+ A lot of times women don’t hit their wellness goals because they aren’t connected to them. Superficial goals like “losing 10 pounds” doesn’t tie any reason to the goal. So the habits to get to the goal are perceived as hindrances. If you have a goal of doing a day hike with your 10 year old and not feeling exhausted, losing 10 pounds now has a reason and a purpose, making the habits that need to be established to hit that, much more likely to stick.
+ If you’re telling yourself that you can’t take care of yourself, because you need to serve others first, a mindset shift needs to happen. A lot of heart-centered entrepreneurs think that serving others comes at a sacrifice of themselves. When the reality is that in order to serve others well and in ways that they need and deserve, you need to first serve yourself. Putting your health on the back-burner makes it so that your output isn’t what you need it to be in order to accomplish your mission.
