Apparently so. Well, whatever you know it as, Sly's first outing as the war machine, John J Rambo is often a million miles away from the 80s super hero he became just two years later.
Make no mistake, First Blood might have been released in the 80s, but this movie is a product of 70s cinema and storytelling.
