Ep. 43 • Bottomfeeder's • 8/12/20 • The Why Run?! Podcast

This one isn't about spirituality but rather a HASHTAG "Woke" situation. I've had many run-in's with people that act as if they're getting in their "hustle", acting as if they're "makin' moves" and "winning" when they're really digging themselves deeper in the hole that they're unknowingly (or knowingly) comfortable with. In this episode I discuss one of my passengers situation that had me questioning why I tend to want to help people like her in those kinds of situations.

What we really should be wanting to do is surround ourselves with successful people who ARE making it so that we can learn from others and better ourselves rather than wanting to take from them. Taking from successful people is not how to get ahead in this world.

I know I don't know this woman personally (nor do I want to because of how exhausting she was making me) but from all the decisions she's told me ON HER OWN, only shows me that I've been caring for the wrong people. And what's embarrassing is that I've allowed myself to care and do for people like herself. It has to stop. Let's analyze.
