KT Leverentz - Conduct Worthy of the Gospel // 7-24-22
KT Leverentz continues our series on the book of Philippians covering the first four verses of chapter two. KT explains to us how these verses need to shape our lives and that these verses are a challenge following up from the high calling of Philippians 1:27-30. KT breaks this section into three main points: Motivation, Mindset, & Moment of Truth! In motivation, we're told about the special, intentional approach. We're then challenged with the following statement, "If we're not feeling it, we're not spending enough time in God's word." In mindset, KT breaks down the passage and explains we are to be like-minded, let nothing be done through selfish ambition, and let let each of you esteem others as better than himself. KT wraps up the message and the final verse in moment of truth where in verse 4 it explains, "Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also the interests of others!" Our lives need to be different moving forward.
"Wisdom is the ability of the soul to discern or perceive God glorifying, Christ exalting, Gospel fashioned, people-helping ways to live with the knowledge you have." ~ John Piper
