Throughout 1966 and 1967, weird encounters were reported all throughout the region of West Virginia surrounding Point Pleasant. These ranged from sightings of bright lights in the sky to more direct encounters with strange beings.
Journalists attempted to make sense of the endless barrage of sightings, which seemed to draw closer and closer to Point Pleasant throughout 1967. But when it all culminated in the collapse of the town's Silver Bridge in December of that year, resulting in 46 deaths, people began to question if what they had seen was a dark omen...
