131: Real Self-Care - What, Why, and How to Create Lasting Change
We're exploring the concept of Self-Care today and why it might not be exactly what we've been told it is. Society would like us to believe that self-care can be purchased in the form of wine, fancy candles, and chocolate, and that it should be 100% feel good all the time. The truth is, though, that if we want to truly care for our mental, emotional, physical, and yes, spiritual health, self-care is a lot more involved and (at times) uncomfortable than that. But that's where the true change lies, the self-care that creates long-term peace and happiness. Join me as we dig deep on exploring limiting beliefs, setting boundaries, and understanding ourselves better. You know, REAL self-care.
