Find a quiet place where you can sit undisturbed for about 30 minutes. You can sit cross legged on a cushion, or on an armless chair, sitting upright and away from the back rest.
Optimal times to meditate are sunrise (or after waking up) noon, sunset and midnight (or before bed)
To ease your mind, silence your phone and let others in the house or building know that you will be meditating for a half hour so that they leave you alone and don’t come running when they hear you chanting AUM. :)
