We must not wait until it’s too late. The surveillance state that has been built upon artificial intelligence technology will literally take away our privacy and even humanity if left unchecked. That is the warning from today’s guest, John Whitehead of the Rutherford Institute. Whitehead warns that our culture has never been more mentally and culturally groomed into this AI world, and we are most susceptible to allowing it to consume our privacy. He explains that the scope of the surveillance state in the U.S. is now second to China and is getting worse by the day. Unless we push for state and local electronic privacy bills of rights, we will eventually cease to function as human beings. I also tie in Whitehead’s message with why I oppose any involvement over Taiwan, because we must first rid ourselves of China’s control of our own government before we can save others.
