Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.

 

We have authority in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus.

 

Father God in the name of Jesus is again, that we give you glory and praise for your great name. And the blessings of God. And the light of God that shines forth in our souls, in our minds that you have given us a desire to live. And we just praise you for the joy that's in our hearts.

 

Thank you, Lord Jesus, that you have transformed our minds and you have given us a reason to live. We are alive in you because you come that we may have life and that more abundantly.

 

And God we choose to live. And so we come against the spirit and we take authority over the spirit of suicide and self-harm, in Jesus' name. And we bound in a name of Jesus and we render it useless in Jesus' name and we decree and declare again that we will live out all of our sunny days. We will find hope in you. We will find a purpose for living in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And for all of those that are contemplating suicide. God, I pray that you would send a special word and special message to them. That you would use the people of God to share hope amongst despair, in Jesus' name.

 

And I pray to God, that they would get the help and the counseling that they need to know that they have a purpose. And you have a plan for them.

 

For, I pray to the father in the name of Jesus, that the spirit of suicide will be broken now. In Jesus' name, thank you for the authority in your name, in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
