Long-term off-season deals in the NHL and the Washington Capitals

In this episode of Locked on Capitals I talk about some of the biggest deals signed in the offseason. Not because of dollar amount exactly but the length of the contracts. Several of the players signed 8-year contracts. It can be a risky move as most of the players will experience some sort of decline. Were these contracts worth it? I guess only time will tell.
