Your Pain Can Change: The science behind the brain body connection
Pain is just neuroscience. Your brain is calculating information 24/7 to keep you safe and alive; when it calculates the threat of danger, pain becomes a protective measure.
This information is biological (like recognizing a broken bone, torn ligament, or a cut), but there are other factors the brain is calculating to make a decision on whether or not you’re in danger and need pain to rescue you.
